Why Choose Prime Facility Services for Drone Inspections?

When managing large industrial or commercial sites, traditional high-level access methods can be slow, dangerous, and expensive. Our commercial drone surveys offer a modern alternative that provides total peace of mind for landlords and property managers.

  • Enhanced Health and Safety Compliance:
Working at height remains one of the biggest risks in facilities management. Operating drones completely removes these hazards, eliminating the need for manual roof access, safety harnesses, or heavy lifting equipment. This significantly reduces your site liability and helps you meet stringent health and safety regulations.
  • Cost-Effective Maintenance::
Traditional high-level inspections often require erecting expensive scaffolding, hiring cherry pickers or mobile elevating work platforms, and applying for local council permits. Drone surveys bypass these heavy expenses entirely, offering a highly economical way to conduct regular building surveys and routine gutter inspections.
  • Zero Operational Disruption:
Traditional access machinery can block loading bays, take up car park spaces, and create noise pollution. Our aerial surveys are incredibly fast and unobtrusive. The drone can be launched and operated with a minimal physical footprint, allowing your day-to-day business operations and those of your neighbouring properties to continue without interruption.
  • Rapid Deployment and Emergency Response:
When severe weather strikes or a sudden roof leak occurs, waiting weeks for scaffolding is simply not an option. We can quickly deploy our drone operators to your site to assess storm damage immediately. This provides you with the fast visual evidence needed to secure the building, authorise emergency repairs, or process insurance claims.
  • Unmatched Visual Accuracy:
Drones can safely navigate tight spaces and awkward angles that are often impossible to reach by human inspectors. This guarantees a comprehensive visual assessment of your entire facility, ensuring no damaged tile, blocked gutter, or structural defect goes unnoticed.

What Customers Say

Would just like to say how great your team have worked and what a difference has been made to the central stairwell. Two more to go and sure they will look great too. I have thanked them but if you could also let them know their dedication to detail hasn’t gone unnoticed by other Wrekin staff.

We moved to larger premises near Wolverhampton in the summer of 2010 and decided to invest in regular cleaning services for our new offices.

We tendered our business and awarded our contract to Prime Facility Services who already had clients on our industrial estate and came recommended.

Since Prime Facility Services took over they have never let us down and the standard of their work is very high. We get a regular visit from the local supervisor and communication and co-operation between both parties is excellent.

I would not hesitate in recommending Prime Facility Services to other local companies.

In 2007 our superstore was using a large cleaning company called Rentokil Initial for our cleaning requirements. However, for a number of months we encountered numerous problems with Initial such as no cover for holidays, high turnover of supervisors and generally poor planning and communication. We tried to meet with Initial to solve these problems as we are a busy 7 day/week superstore but they often failed to turn up for meetings. We were then approached by Prime Facility Services who already had contracts in our area.

Since Prime Facility Services commenced operations in January 2009 we have been delighted with the change. The cleaning standards are consistently high and the local supervisor sorts out any problems and manages holidays and absence very well. This means we can concentrate on other more important parts of our business...

In 2008 we opened new, purpose built premises in Erdington, Birmingham. To ensure these facilities are kept in good condition we approached Prime Facility Services to take over the management of the cleaning services contract as they already cleaned another Midlands office for us.

I am happy to recommend Prime Facility Services and in our experience we have found them to be efficient, reliable and give us excellent value for money.

In 2006 the Shropshire Fire Authority tender was issued and Prime Facility Services were invited to bid. Initially the Authority decided to retain the incumbent supplier – Mitie Cleaning – who was the most economic. However, after a lengthy period of sub standard service, lack of local support and unresolved problems the contract was terminated with Mitie and placed with Prime Facilities.

Since Prime Facility Services commenced operations in January 2008 the Authority and its staff have been delighted with the change. The cleaning standards have improved, the local supervisors have built and maintained excellent relationships at each site, any problems are quickly resolved and the monthly customer satisfaction scores have been consistently high...

Frequently Asked Questions

For safety and image quality, drones cannot operate in heavy rain, snow, or high winds. We closely monitor the weather forecast in the days leading up to your inspection. If the conditions are unsuitable, we will contact you to reschedule the flight for the next available clear day at no additional cost.

No. One of the primary benefits of an aerial drone survey is that it causes zero operational disruption. Your staff, visitors, tenants, and vehicles can continue their day-to-day activities safely while the pilot operates from a designated, self-contained ground area.

Most standard commercial roof or gutter surveys are completed within two to four hours, depending on the size and complexity of the building architecture. We will always provide an estimated time frame tailored to your specific site before we arrive.

We understand that property maintenance issues often require urgent attention. We aim to process, quality-check, and deliver your high-definition digital video report and high-resolution photographic data within three working days of completing the site flight.
