Who are Orbit Housing?
Orbit Housing are a leading housing provider providing high quality, good value homes to thousands of customers in the Midlands, the East and South East. Queensway Court in Leamington Spa was built in 2015 for residents aged 55 and over and comprises 178 flats over 4 floors and includes lounges, a laundry, café, restaurant, activities room and hairdresser salon.
What Were the Problems & Challenges they Faced?
When a relative of one of their residents sadly passed away due to Coronavirus, Orbit contacted Prime Facility Services to deep clean the site ready for the return of the resident.
How Did Prime Help?
Prime’s team of qualified and experienced deep clean operatives attended site and, following a detailed risk assessment and method statement, set about deep cleaning all accessible surfaces and touch points with chemicals recommended by Public Health England to kill the coronavirus. The deep clean was completed over a period of 24 hours with minimal disruption to the residents. Feedback from the customer was “the Prime team were very professional and did a thoroughly good job”.
